    Best/easiest way to take the most strokes off your game is with a putter. You need to get yodur putter fitted to you. Most important club in your bag by far.

    Putter can only get you so far, the more important thing than the club itself is learning the greens and reading them correctly.

    also judging distance and having a consistent swing. short game will always be a top priority compared to distance and driving.

    True in some situations when you get better, but as a novice the main thing is keeping the ball in play which is tougher on the long distance and driving shots as to the shorter shots Dman

    true I live on Long Island and I played 3 times this year, last weekend too. I have only lost 1 ball this year so I would say I am starting to pick up this game after many years of frustration haha. I shoot around 85-90 although this weekend I shot 100 but it was on a harder course.
