Goodell would just force them to stay under water to avoid concussions.
Looks like a queer dolphin
I think thats an oxymoron
Hank Hill got humped by a dolphin in an episode of King of the Hill.
This is pretty bad.
Yet again... decent logo-- but terrible logo for a football team.
It'd make a great logo for a family vacation resort or an aquarium. But it's not a sports logo.
The old one was outdated, and goofy but it was accepted and everyone was used to it. It was a better football team logo than this is, also.
Just because something is accepted and people are used to it doesn't mean it's a great logo. You can bet the change happened, in part, due to lack of merchandise sells. That should tell you a lot about what their fans think about the current logo.
The dolphins logo was outdated. You can't live off of 1972 forever. I think they did a good job in keeping enough of the original look to appease their fans while giving it a more modern look.
I totally don't see the family resort connection.
I agree with that. If they still had momentum from the Griese then Marino eras, they would have reason to stick with the old logo, like the Packers have done, and others. But, they have stank since the 90s, so in with the new.
Winning tradition is a tradition you want to keep. not the dolphins since Marino started going downhill.
It worked with the Patriots.. Not saying that a logo change will bring about success, but if success was to occur, the fans would enjoy the new logo to signify a new era.
The old Fins logo really was a classic though.
Classic logos are usually better imo, this one is horrendous.
