I think Marvel took most of the cool names. DC has some really dumb names.

    From Wiki:
Yeah, that sounds like a good premise for a movie.

Love Hardy as Bane. Bane is remembered by most casual fans as a throw-away character in the cartoon series or in the Schumacher abortion. However, the comic Bane was an intellectual and physical equal to Batman, attempting to become a vigilante that criminals and citizens alike would fear. He is most famous for being the only villain to break Batman's back in two, nearly killing him.

Hathaway as Selina has me less excited, only because I could care less about the romantic side of this series, which is what I'm guessing it's being touted for. Both Hardy and Hathaway are solid, solid actors who are slowly creating buzz in their careers, and now seem to be getting rewarded for it. I trust Nolan implicitly in his castings in the past, so I'll trust him here as well.

    nooooooO thanks.

The news today, in general, could hardly be more depressing. I would rather see Mr. Freeze again, before Catwoman. Overdone.

Bane is cool, but he doesn't seem like a marquee villain. Nolan's movies beforehand have some sort of footing in reality, and a roided up masked, yet intelligent freak and a skinny girl prancing around in a catsuit kind of goes against the mold.

This is how Nolan is going to go out, after the great storyline of Two-Face/Joker?

the words "Jumping the Shark" come to mind.

This movie is going to be a disappointment either way, because of how overhyped the Dark Knight was. Nothing is going to compare to Ledger's "best ever" performance. (let's be honest, it was hyped as the best ever before it was released, self-fulfilling prophecy, but it was good.)

As usual, suicide is the best career move..If Ledger hadn't killed himself, it would have been known as a good performance, not all-world.
I think Aaron Eckhardt was better than Ledger in it.

I dont think they will be forced characters due to the actors portraying them, not like in Spiderman 3. TRUST IN NOLAN!
