Some good movies currently available on instant (off the top of my head):

    - Oldboy (a must see if you haven't already. *subtitled)
    - Election (not the Broderick/Witherspoon comedy. *subtitled)
    - Moon
    - The House of the Devil

There are tons of good docs and TV shows on instant. I'll try to put together a short list when I have some time.

There are literally tons of great flicks to watch on Netflix streaming - especially if you enjoy things that are off the beaten path a bit (ala Sawdust's recommendations - Old Boy, House of The Devil etc) and no better place to track down obscure older movies that Blockbuster/Redbox etc would never dedicate shelf space to..
I could make a list - but it would be miles long...

I watched the Wild Whites of West Virginia last night. It's a documentary about a famous drugged out hillbilly family in West Virginia. Very funny, sad and interesting. Highly recommend.

Can't wait to watch Moon later this week! I recently renewed by Netflix streaming account. I went AWOL for a while due to the poor selection online as well as the slow, delayed delivery of the DVD/Blu Ray movies. Glad to be back on.

Ha. Ol' Jesco is one messed, yet insightful guy. However, he's probably the most normal of the bunch still living is Boone County. No I haven't seen that one yet. Is it similar?

NvM Cruds. Just looked up the description of Uncle. Any movie that's got someone's crotch getting lit on fire and having their face painted with Rustoleum has my vote.

There's a plethora of older, b movies that I personally love, but don't think many people on this site would enjoy. I'll sporadically put out some good ones for those who might be interested in hidden gems.

House 3 (Lance Henrikson, Brion James) - Brion James plays a crazy mass-murdering b****** named Max Jenke who is put to death via the electric chair. But you see, Jenke is not having any of that, as after being electrocuted and thought dead, he bolts to life, spits up blood, and yells "All that did was give me a hard on!". This is all you really need to know about this film.

Chaos ensues when Jenke' spirit comes back and proceeds to violently murder other people in silly ways while Henrikson conveys great pathos as the weary and haunted cop who must pursue James once more. Oh, and there's also a subplot about some snot-nosed kid hustling his way to a lifetime supply of chili. Great stuff here.

P.S. - The movie has literally nothing to do with other House horror films, but was a contrived attempt at cashing in on the series over seas.

Diggin this Netflix thang... haven't had to see "two And A Half Men" for almost a month now.

I went to go Christmas shopping and get very sick... never made it... stayed down the entire holiday and beyond. Went shopping afterwards, but they were all sold out of the special Mario Anniversary edition of the Wii console (Traci is a Mario freak). So, I ordered one online.

I DID NOT KNOW that it would stream Netflix. It has been awesome, and Traci is ecstatic over the thing. Score.

They pretty much have every single Criterion release on the site...which I love because I am a pretentious art snob.
