Need a new epic show to get hooked on, which one out of these?

I've narrowed it down to these shows, which would you recommend the most?

Cool, I am a big Band of Brothers fan, so might go with The Pacific first.

Have you seen Deadwood? A lot of people rave about this show and I watched the first episode and it was kinda boring to be honest. Now I don't expect every good show to get you hooked from the start and I know you need to be patient with some shows, but every show I've ever gotten into, I was never bored by the first episode.

Also a must see is Shamless, after 2 shows youll be hooked

I actually haven't seen any of these (other than American Horror Story).

AHS is pretty hardcore at times. I liked the way it started in the pilot episode, but I never cared much for it. I did finish the first season... not much interest in starting up the 2nd.

Those are the ones from that list I've been wanting to see the most.

I have Showtime, so as soon as I wrap up some other shows, I'll start Shameless.

Ever read the book?

Freaking amazing. The stuff thats left out is nuts. (Like Dick Winters breaking someones back in a friendly wrestling match)
