Honestly, I'd put Popovich or Larry brown over him. And they're current coaches. Look at the teams they've made contenders (and LB even beat phil with MUCH less talent).
Those guys actually coach though. Jerry Sloan?

Phil just sits there. Whistles every now and then. Watches Kobe explain the offense. Looks over Tex's shoulder every now and then to figure out what exactly is going on...and makes sure guys like D. Fisher are playing when at their worst while guys like Shannon Brown are hot...sit the bench.

I like the Jefferson trade for San Antonio, and the Mike Miller/ Randy Foye trade for the Wizards. Also, sources are saying that the Nets and the Magic are talking a Vince Carter for Rafer Alston, Tony Battie, Courtney Lee swap.

If that trade goes down for the Magic and they resign Hedo, they're going to have a very good lineup to compete with the new Cavs and the healthy(assuming) Celtics.

    Jameer
    VC
    Hedo
    Lewis
    Howard

Vince Carter would ruin the Magic.

Quietly the Nets have put together a nice little nucleus of young players with Devin Harris, Courtney Lee, and Brook Lopez.

As for VC in Orlando, it just seems like a panic trade to keep up with San Antonio and Cleveland. Maybe, though, Vince Carter will actually start to show a little bit of desire now that he's playing for a contender. Don't count on it, though.

Memphis got Thabeast. That's awesome. lol @ Taking Blake 'the Sure Bust' Griffin with the 1st pick.

Dude wont amount to anything in the NBA.

Lakers need to get a decent PG.

yeah not one minute on the court but already he's a bust. some people amaze me. So the lkaers will get better value at wherever they pick right? Every team has blake as the #1 but for some reason he's a bust already. I dont think he'll be some great player, i think he'll have a solid career, maybe one like joe smiths.

The Lakers saved around 6.5 Million dollars tonight. That will huge in re-signing Odom, Ariza, and Shannon Brown.
