If the Lakers are horrible and won the championship, how bad does that make the Jazz, who lost to the Lakers in the playoffs? Man I wish my team was as horrible this year as the Lakers were.

It looks like Ariza might be on his way out of LA. Apparently he is upset with the Lakers offer to him and Cleveland is currently the front runner to sign him.

There's also talk about Artest coming to LA to replace Ariza. He would definitely have to take a pay cut though.

Uhhh. There you go again not understanding a simple concept like 'bust'.

Sun Yue was a 2nd round pick. Which in the NBA is like a 4th round pick (in comparison to the NFL). And even there he was considered raw and was basically only taken by chance that his athletic ability would translate to a decent point guard.
Nothing really lost with the 40th pick of the NBA draft. Top talent dont even leave college typically if they don't go in round 1.

But ok. Compare a lottery pick with the 40th pick of the draft in terms of busts. lmao

How does Cleveland afford guys like this?

Ariza is committing career suicide if he leaves. He'll become as unknown as he was with Orlando.

i might like the idea of Ariza in Cleveland.

Cleveland really needs to get a high percentage 3 point shooter.

Cleveland is going after Artest too. It looks like Cleveland will get whichever player the Lakers don't sign out of Ariza and Artest. Unless Portland or Toronto sign Ariza but I doubt that happens.
