I'm sorry you apparently never got to see the only real royalty in the NBA (His Royal Airness) play.

Though if you ever want to cease living in a delusion and see a real basketball player, go watch some old Bulls games from when MJ was on the team.

Look at LeBron playoff numbers. Higher win percentage more series wins more ppg in game 7s more game 7s (bigger sample). More Mvps. Reached 2 rings at a younger age. Imo he's the goat. I don't care if you agree

You're a clown to say he's not a real basketball player. Magic Johnson sat there and admired his greatness. Your opinion is a joke. LeBron is the biggest superstar in sports.

Gross understatement. Jordan and Magic are about the only two folks as athletically gifted and basketball dominant as LeBron.

Jordan, Magic, Wilt, Bill Russell, Kareem, Oscar Robertson, Bird, Shaq, Kobe, Duncan, Olajuwon all > LeBron right now from the top of my head.

LeBron also plays in the no handcheck era and arguably the worst era of big men.
    Deuce Wayne high fives this.

Calling anyone in sports the greatest ever, at least to me, is stupid. There is NO GREATEST EVER. Now, placing players in groups of SOME of the greatest ever... ok, I can accept that.

If it's debatable... I remember this exact same argument back in the day with MJ. People claiming he was the best ever - I was one of those - but there were people arguing it. They were the "old timers", the "old schoolers". The problem is that different generations have differing opinions on this. The primary reason is that none of these players could compete against one another in their prime under the rules of each player's era.

If MJ and Lebron were able to play 50 games in each others prime - 50 under the style and rules of MJ's era and 50 more under the style and rules of this era - the outcomes would be so close that there would be no definitive answer to the question.

May as well ask "why are we here?"

But... as in every sport, the debate will always rage on: "Who is the best player ever?"

May as well consider it as an "older" fan stating: "No one's better than MY generation's player!!"

Kind of like the statement of "The greatest generation ever" back during World War II. F*&^ you with that crap. If they were so great, why were racists so bad and segregation so bad? Yeah.

Look at LeBron's Finals records vs. MJ.
    LeBron: 10-13 (2-2)
    MJ: 24-11 (6-0)

MJ never lost in the Finals. LeBron has already lost twice, and if not for the Spurs choking it would be three times. This year the Spurs lost it more than the cHeat won it.

If you want another dose of reality:

And MJ was playing during a much more difficult time. Seriously, last year wasn't even a full season and the cHeat had to go through what? An aging Celtics, an injured Bulls, the Pacers (lol), and a young OKC team whose 6th man quit on them.

This year they had to go through the Bucks (lol), an injured Bulls, the Pacers (lol), and an aging Spurs team.

MJ played against better competition in the first round of the playoffs than the cHeat have faced in the Finals.
