The problem isn't tanking, it's the way the NBA is structured. Too many teams, too many small markets, not enough talent to go around.

Let's be honest, you can get rid of the Charlotte, Toronto, Sacramento, Milwaukee, Minnesota, Orlando, and Cleveland and no one would know the difference.

It would be madness and it'd be awesome.

You can have the Bucks. No one here cares unless they're good which is once every 15 years. We actually need the Bucks to tank and they never do. (until this year) They're always just too good to get a top pick and too bad to even have a sliver of a chance. It pisses me off.

 

NBA would be fine if there was talent to spread. But there isn't so they just collude to make superteams.

 

I like the idea, at least every team gets a top pick every few decades. Some go for half a century without a top pick.
