    Celtics Win!

I'm happy for the C's but I still think they're going to split the 1st 2 games. So I'm not going to trash talk or anything like that. Paul Pierce was player of the game in my book.

    1-0 Celtics lead

I watched some of the game. I was out for most of the first half so I can't really go into detail. I'm really happy because this is how the C's will have to play to have a chance at winning the title. The Big 3 showed up tonight and no one stepped up for L.A.

    That's the C's defense.

The Celtics D will do that, I remember when they shut down rockets during our 22 game winning streak, and they shut us down in all phases. The Lakers couldn't stop us during the same streak and we beat them handily. I like what the Celtics are bringing, and if Cassell can play like he did it gives them instant scoring during the down periods. They look good. The big three scored, and if they all get 20, I do not think the Lakers can keep up given that the Celtics also bring the Defense. Ray Allen is adequate and KG is a force. And they are taking on the two biggest scorers for the Lakers. Really, Odom appears to have the biggest matchup advantage, and that does not bode well for the Lakers at all.

Lamar Odom is one of the biggest waste of talent in the nba. Every series we talk about how he has a mismatch but he never plays good and takes advantage. Half the time he's standing out at the 3 point line when he gets the ball and the guys defending him just drop back into the paint. The celtics defense is the best in the nba when it comes to defending a one-dimensional team. They have multiple guys who can at least challenge kobe and force him into tough shots.

Celitcs defense played way better than Lakers. P.J. Brown and James Posey to be exact.
