I highly doubt he goes to the Knicks.

The Nets can offer him more in terms of money overall.
Cavs can offer him more in terms of salary.
Bulls offer Max contract and better players.

Knicks offer...Amare? And he'll be crap in NY.

Knicks offer... New York. Which trumps anything the other teams have to offer.

And then there's the part about them actually having a coach. Something Chicago, Clippers, etc can't say.

Amare is just as good as Bosh. Way better than Noah/Deng. We all know he can't play with Wade. It'd hurt his numbers, and he's too selfish for that.

    And... it's New York.

Where better for an attention whore like Lebron?

Damn you Ray Allen! he re signed with Boston. oh well, if the Bulls dont get Lebron what they gonna do with all that money they have left?

also, they were saying on ESPN that the Knicks was pitching something to Lebron about 1 billion dollars. i guess it was money he could make from marketing etc...

Now all the rumors are saying it's Miami. This is too much, I wish 9:00 would just get here so all the speculation can die. Meanwhile Boston is looking at Jermaine O'Neal, excuse me while I lol.

Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will the Knicks. They can sign and trade for Monta Ellis or keep David Lee or who knows. He can play in the biggest city in America and in a year or two they can build the team up to compete. The only team he can go to and be an instant contender is Miami, maybe Chicago. As of right now, LeBron's best bet is to go to Miami to be a 2nd fiddle to Wade.

Why is NBA free agency being discussed in the draft thread?

Amare as good as Bosh? What are you smoking man? Bosh has better numbers and he doesn't play with Nash. Amare has a serious injury in his past. Oh, and Bosh actually plays defense and team ball.

The Knicks are the worst basketball option on the table. If he picks them, it clearly wasn't about championships.

Why leave Ohio if you're announcing you're coming back to Cleveland? He's not here in Connecticut to avoid the heat. It's averaged 100 degrees this week here. He's either a Knick or Net. It's that simple. By 2011 both teams will be in the heart of New York where LeBron belongs.

Going to the Heat is a good idea if LeBron feels he can't beat the Magic or Celtics alone. Assume he becomes a New York market team (Knicks or Nets), he'll only have one other notable teammate to play with. If he goes to Miami he's able to play freely, and rack up points while Wade's career soars. LeBron is too large to fall into Wades plans.
