Because -- again -- the inferiority complex I'm referring to has nothing to do with football. I'm suggesting it manifests itself in football.

It's not like I'm the first person ever to present this thesis. Some light reading for you:

I figured you were talking very broadly about the south and history in general.. which would it' stand to reason that everyone in the south would then root for every southern team? If that inferiority complex existed..

Uhh... just a bit back Oregon was beaten by an Auburn team on pure fluke. So I think you may be exaggerating a bit...

In another, Texas had a shot- but with a backup QB didn't last long.

LSU vs Alabama- of course an SEC team won and dominated.

    Florida beat Oklahoma by 10...

Oregon Auburn was a 3 point game in which Auburn should have lost.

    Not exactly all blowouts.

Nope UT sucks. But that's not the point.

You're making a point that not everyone got blown out in the championship game, a few of the teams actually made it a game. That's more of a point against your own argument really..

    Nope, it's not.

Guy tried to make it seem like the SEC is oh-so dominant like all you clowns do- but evidence suggests otherwise.

by the way- when I say "SEC" I'm talking about the entire conference... you know... the SEC?

I am at the point now that I just feel sorry for people that can't recognize the SEC as hands down the best conference in college football during the modern era.

9 Championships in 16 BCS Bowl Championships via 5 different teams including 8 in a row. Filled 11 of 32 spots in all 16 BCS Championship games.

Florida State was the best team this year, but I feel 100% confident in saying they would NOT have been undefeated if they played any SEC West team schedule this year. They may still have made it and won it, but they wouldn't be undefeated. And I would say that about any non-SEC team that won a BCS championship in any of those years (although you may have to switch from west to east regarding schedule in the earlier years).
