TTF.. just hit lower Broadway by foot and you'll find a plethora of inexpensive food and entertainment - some "chainy" places and some local flavor..
Jacks BBQ, Tootsies, Robert's, Layla's, Rippy's and so on... Bands playing in every doorway...

Haha. Bret Michaels is not really my thing but I'm sure we'll find something good to listen to.

It really depends on what you guys are into. Jack's has great bar-b-q but Cruds can put you on some serious meat-n-3s. Swett's isn't far. I don't know if Arnold's and the Pie Wagon are still going anymore.

So are you saying you'll be living in a van down by the Cumberland River?

    Stoney River > Ruth Chris.

A big part of that is atmosphere, and I'll admit most of my friends disagree with my opinion.

Also, if anyone is ever on Old Hickory Lake, "Black Pearl" is awesome. Good good food, and nice relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff on the water.

Closer to Nashville, I'm looking for opinions on "Blue Moon Lagoon". Anyone eat or hang out there, or have a boat at their marina?

Oscar's rules! Have you been to the new one on Mallory? So nice they would put an Oscar's right next to my house!

Mortons > Stoney River and Ruth's Chris together.. And you're much more likely to sit next to a Titan...

I definitely agree with Stoney River over Ruth's Chris.

I'll take Fleming's over any steak place though.
