The Titans allowed the Steelers just 195 yards and sacked quarterback Ben Roethlisberger five times.
Asked about the impact of new senior assistant/defense Gregg Williams, coach Mike Munchak made sure to credit defensive coordinator Jerry Gray.
“Jerry called the game. That is Jerry’s defense. It’s the whole staff’s defense,” Munchak said. “But Jerry called the game and called a great game.”

I'm a bit confused.Isn't Gregg Williams the one who has a lot to do with this defense.I find it odd that most of the credit is given to Gray.

Funny how the defense was night and day compared with last season and the only factor that has changed was the addition of Greg Williams. Usually were there's smoke there's fire, so Williams is the difference here.
mike75 and JCBRAVE high five this.

Gregg Williams is definitely the difference.I hate to think about how Jerry's 'Defense' would've looked had Williams never came into the picture.Gray needs to be thanking his lucky stars Gregg Williams came in and bailed his ass out.We were ranked dead last in defense the end of last season and at the end of week one i know we are in the top five and thats definitely not because of Jerry Gray.I just hope Williams doesn't do great this year and then leave i do hope he is here for awhile.
