There were far more plays with bad blocking than good blocking and CJ being in camp wouldn't have changed that. Not saying CJ shouldn't have been in camp, but he is not the reason for the OLs struggles this year.

Seriously though, you've grown on me GoT, and we agree on a lot of issues, but I'm just a person who prefers to be positive. What happened in the past can't be changed and the reality is that CJ is going to be here next year. I'm just asking you man to man to tone down some of the CJ hate and to stop making every thread a CJ hate thread.

You never know what CJ might bring to the table next year. It would be in both our best interest to wish the guy the best this off-season and encourage his improvement from this season.

Everybody thought LT was done in San Diego and he went on to have some great years in New York.

 

Positives:

No "Fishspeak" during press conferences! Nice to hear him actually answer the questions and not deflect like a politician. Hell many time he answers a question to death, but I like that.

Willingness to play rookies.

Has the cashews to go for it on 4th and short.

Based on one draft he seems to be better at evaluating talent.

No dumb visor sunglasses and no wannabe porn star mustache.

 

OH the Atlanta game where they simply sat on the 23-3 lead or whatever it was? Where CJ ran for 1 YPC?

Was it Matt Hasselbeck who allowed Donald Brown to run for 10 YPC?

If we had Matt on defense, by all means, bad call coach.

Or the New Orleans game where that same offense Locker supposed so wildly dominated in lost with the chance to win?

If your only case to start Locker during a playoff run is losing to a Colts team who went on to beat the Texans the next week, I'm glad you aren't an NFL head coach. Or if you were, at least pick the Colts, Jags, or Texans.

When was the last time a REAL playoff contender benched the only thing making any sort of offense on the team?

 

Considering the MANY opportunities the defense gave matt in the colts game.......8 tries in the first half and you get 6 points? With good field position? 4 three and outs in the first? Yeah, Matt gassed our defense.

 

Munchak did a better job to me earlier in the year. I felt like down the stretch our defense looked more like fisher. Really disappointed in the o-line play and not making player changes and making them more accountable ( matthews did a sh*t job coaching them). I did like the fact we threw the ball more and I did like watching damian williams and cook start to grow. Munch's best coaching game was the raven game A+. Thought we did a really nice job against the saints in a loss. Biggest problem I see with this staff, is the same problem fisher had, if the game plan is not working, we do not adjust in game. Although I did see more of it than I did with fisher. I think we were 6-10 with fisher. We should not have lost to Indy or the jags, this was a 10-6 football team to me. Losing Britt really hurt because we win the division and make some noise in the playoffs if we do not.
