Rex Ryan is 10x the coach anyone we have is. Literally, he's huge!

10 times the mouth, that is for sure. His father was the same as a head coach. Big rep, big mouth, bad coach.

He's toned it down a lot though. He really used to talk and talk, but having Mark Sanchez at QB for so long has mellowed him out recently.

Another Mangini, had one or two good seasons and then was crowned the messiah.

How is he overrated though? He's like the 16th best coach right now, maybe lower.

No one looks at this guy like he's still top 5.

They should have polled some smarter players.

People act like he is the second coming of Bill Walsh

The only 2nd coming Rex Ryan cares about is when are his 2nd's coming come dinner time.

He's had to deal with Sanchez. Give him a decent QB and I bet he'd look a whole lot better.

I've been calling him overrated since the beginning!

What has the guy done? Taken Eric Mangini's 9-7 team with a broken Brett Favre in the latter half of the season to a couple of wild card births? Great job coach. Brett Favre stays healthy that season and Rex Ryan is still massaging Ray Lewis' feet in Baltimore.

He and Mike Tannenbaum have shown they have NO ability to scout or develop talent. Has anyone looked at the Jets' drafts since Ryan took over? There's one guy who has contributed and it's Sanchez, and he sucks.
