Depending on who you talk to, most people agree offensive line is the most important unit of the team. If those guys can't gel together, nothing really matters. I mean just look at the 2012 Tennessee Titans for proof.

But after the O-Line, which group needs to be at it's best? I have my own thoughts, but what are yours?

Offensive line is easily the most important. Without them your QB and RB are not effective. If the QB is not effective then the receivers are not either. Without a good O line you are going to have more INTs from rushed throws and more fumbles from the defense getting to the ball carrier too fast. Also not going to have good time of possession which means the defensive will not be successful.

QB is the most important position in football.

I would put D-line and O-line as equals.

Agree on QB. And I can see your point on D line. I have always considered D line a close second as they directly oppose the O line. This is old school Al Davis football (from when he knew what he was doing, before he went nuts). Win games in the trenches.

Honestly, it really depends on the type team you're creating, such as, location and divisional opponents. Teams in the AFC North will cherish the OL/DL, while teams in the NFC South will probably favor toward a QB and WR to keep up with the fast pace offenses.

Lol, this question could apply to all aspects of the game. Based on last yr, the Refs seem like a pretty important group to get right. When you don't have the best there, you have instant loses, just ask the Packers
