Morgan's Future with the Titans...

I think Morgan will impress this year under a new scheme, kind of hard to get sacks when DB play 10 yards off the LOS. Morgan has been great in run defense, and gets a lot of pressure on the QB. However, with how our DB played a lot of teams played the short pass game on us.

 

At this point we got enough lb to run a 3-6-2

 

Morgan was considered most NFL ready and fishface ws fighting for his J O B so Morgan it was.

At the time I had no problems with the pick, then he went all hakuna matata

 

The best we could get for him is either a 5th or 6th.

 

I don't see how. He has not impressed anyone with his play so far.

I am sad to say this but TWW2 is correct with is above post. We would not get anything higher than a 5 for him.

 

A third for Derrick Morgan? Um, yes.

 

Why because he doesn't get double digit sacks every season? I don't know if anyone could get double digits on our team, with corner backs playing so far off the LOS.

 

Yea it's literally imposable to get to a QB when he's getting the ball out in 2.5 seconds.

 

He's played 4 seasons and only had 2 where he managed to get more than 5. Granted he did only play in 4 games in 2010.

2010 - 1.5
2011 - 2.5
2012 - 6.5
2013 - 6

personally you can throw the .5s out the window. You either got the guy or you didn't imo. Hardly impressive numbers. I will say the last two seasons are decent, but nothing that can't be replaced.

 

So sacks are the only stat that matters?

If Morgan had 12 sacks and only 12 tackles on the season he would be a great player, with your logic?
