Anyone else notice more excitement for the Titans in the forum and on the radio the last couple of days? There seems to be more excitement after a loss than any of the wins this season.

I noticed that as well. Lots of positive threads popping up, which is definitely a break from the norm.

I think it makes sense though. Most people consider the Saints easily a top 5 team. So hanging with them and playing them so tough, even though we lost, is more exciting than a win over some random weak team. Let's be real, the win over Baltimore has really been our only quality win this season.

A close 5 point loss to a potential Super Bowl champion says more positive about this team than a 30-3 thumping of a bad Panthers team. IMO at least.

Hard to not be excited after that game IMO. We played just about as good as we possibly could have.

And like I said before... We would've taken down at least 25 teams playing that way. If we play like that the rest of the way, we will win out, and we should make the playoffs. Maybe we can make some noise.

I told DW this forum would be bleak and depressing until next Sunday.

    I r pleasantly surprised.

Surprisingly I've only felt like crap after 2 loses this year. Aside from the Steelers and Texans loses, I've felt good about our team when we've lost.

Defensively we played just about as well as we could have, but offensively?

I hope this excitement will lead to Titans fans actually coming to the games and not selling there tickets to opposing fans, like Bengals and Saints this season. We are suppose to have a homefield advantage in Nashville and last week was an embarrassing meant with 20,000+ Saints fans. We need to have Titans fans show up and actually fill up LP Field for once. The magic from 1999-2003 with us having the loudest stadium is long gone.

The only thing that got me in this defeat, is that we came oh so CLOSE to pulling it out.

You can ask my friends this, but when MY TITANS get beat it really ruins my whole week to the fullest. I really take losses to the heart. But when we win, I'm just the coolest person to be around.

However, this loss faded away by the end of the day yesterday.
