There will be a lot more growing pains for VY, yesterday was one. Says a lot for the team that they can win any way.

We deserved the win, we played well on both sides, some great individual performances, BUT we were still lucky.

We were lucky the refs blew the whistle on our goaline attempt fumble, the one that was picked up by the jags that would've been a 99 yard fumble return TD. That, and it was lucky for us that their kicker was injured. Not that I'm glad he got injured, but they lost points because he wasn't kicking field goals.

Still great game. Chris Brown looks like a different player than before. I hope it stays that way all season, I was a big doubter of his.

Last year the jags out rushed their opponents by 68 yards per game. Yesterday we out rushed them by 138. We took their heart out and ate it in front of them! Only one long pass and a couple of mistakes on our part kept this game from being a blow out. We beat them at their own game.

Interesting how fundamentally different a team we became last year once stewart got on the field. Notice how hard it is to run on us in short yardage with both fowler and tulloch in there? Teams used to be able to pound it in on us in the red zone. Not anymore. This is a different titan team now a team much like the 13-3 teams in 99 and 2000. Anybody expecting that soft undersized bunch from the last 2 seasons better think again.

I think what happened yesterday was an epiphany. We are going to beat people up this year. For us to win a game without vince playing well or having some big runs is the most positive thing of all. When vince plays well who will be able to touch us?

"Let's look at the 28-24 loss to Seattle and grade out the Titans by position:" Say what? Can we give you a grade?!

We are very lucky to have VY as quarterback. Was there a qb that played yesterday that didn't make one bad decision? He came out after his junior season in college. He can throw a football 70 yards in the air. He can run like the wind. He has won at every level--high school, college, NFL (9-5). Yesterday was not his best day, but before you throw him under the bus, let's see how other qb's fare against Jacksonville's defense. It's one of the best in the league. He's a leader, a winner, a solid citizen. How did the team go from 0-3 last year to 8-8? VY was the difference. Give him time to mature into an NFL quarterback. He's going to be the best.

Bad game is generous. It was a pathetic game. Bad decisons and poor mechanics. I don't even remember him playing this bad last year, except in the Jags games...maybe they just rattle him. He only completed one pass longer than 10 yards, and that was thrown into double coverage to Scaife. Just as I posted in preseason, he has to complete passes to keep defenses honest. 76 yards pasing isn't going to do it. Even Moulds was telling him to get his passes up. Again, what happed to all this offseason work Chow was going to do with him to get his motion corrected? The only pass he throws with authority is the WR screen. It seems we have ourselves a football team this year, but VY is going to have to pick it up. We won Sunday in spite of him, and were very lucky. Scobee hurt, Jones-Drew loses the ball at our 8, we recover a VY fumble.......it could have been ugly.
