SUMMARY: It wasn't pretty but it ended up in the win column.

Though winning the game was the most important thing to do yesterday, many were hoping the Titans would begin to look like a team flirting with a playoff spot. Though 9-points looks big in the paper this morning, we know the Titans couldn't put this one away until late.

Third down defense remains a concern. The Chiefs were 11-of-17 yesterday and converted many long third down opportunities including two touchdowns. The Titans defense allowed a no-name RB to gash them for 4.6 yards per carry. The Titans secondary made Brodie Croyle look like Len Dawson the first half with two touchdowns and a 102.1 passer rating. The Titans continued to have difficulties getting the ball into the endzone and there were the usual drops by receivers.
