I know that Zach Brown isn't the best block shedder in the world, but I don't understand why we don't slide him to the middle. If McCarthy can't stay healthy, then I say put Brown at MLB.. I mean, Wesley Woodyard has been playing lights out after sliding from WLB to MLB. He is extremely undersized (6-0 228-230) and he doesn't shed blocks like a 250 pound LB, but he still makes plays on instincts. IDK, just a thought..

We clearly need to go MLB early in the draft.

No we don't. Two second round picks invested in Brown and Ayers and then a third in Gooden. How much can you invest in your linebackers?

We should have gone after Darryl Smith instead of Fokou.

Who's the best guard in the draft? We should take that guy.

I agree, we should have gone after Daryl Smith. This is why I think we should see what Brown can do at MLB. If he can make a similar transition that Woodyard made for the Broncos, then we could bring Gooden along at WLB and we would have a great trio of LBs in Ayers at SLB, Brown at MLB, and Gooden at WLB which includes to good coverage LBs in Brown and Gooden in nickel packages (Ayers would rush from DE), and then Brown would truly be a play making three-down MLB we have been looking for. That is, if McCarthy continues to prove that he can't stay healthy.

We really don't. We're facing three WRs so often you only need a good veteran for 30% of the snaps. Gooden and Brown are the nickel LBs with Ayers going to DE.

Two-down middle linebackers are a dime a dozen in the draft and can be had late.

With that said I have no idea why Fokou is the dime LB instead of Brown. I also have no idea why Brown wasn't spying Wilson the entire game. It's not like the Seahawks have deadly TEs and RBs to cover. We better have Brown on Kaepernik on Sunday otherwise it's going to be more of the same.

Fokou probably starts and plays most snaps because Zach brown is a knuckle head. You guys really want Zach Brown being responsible for lining everyone up?
