I want us to go defense early and often, but I'd rather trade that 20 pick and get extra picks. The need vs the talent x our pick = a reach. Im not cool with that

I'm not saying you have to put any stock into it, just gives us something to talk about leading up to draft day.

Personally, DE is not the biggest priority for this team it's the tickle effect. We need to get Shaun Smith out of the line-up since he is to use to the 3-4 type of play. You get a guy to plug up the middle and take up double teams, with Casey ability to get to the QB will get better production out of our DE. I just wish we can get another Albert type defensive tackle and will see vast improvements in the whole defense.

    Guys to consider:
    Brandon Thompson, DT, Clemson
    Mister Cobble**, NT, Kentucky
Dontari Poe, DT/NT, Memphis He is my top pick just a massive body that demands the double teams can be a force if taught right
Mike Martin, DT, Michigan A lot of you guys like this kid, he is very impressive but if we went this route I would like to get a good pass rusher at DE

Seems like a lot of people are down on Ingram. That scares me. If we don't grab a C in FA, we should take Konz at 20.

Hey, guys...I have a crazy idea!

Let's start Klug AND Casey! AT THE SAME TIME! We can also rotate Jones, Smith and Marks! Whoa!

    Get a DE.

If I saw Klug in a rushing situation I would be ecstatic if I was the other team. Klug is a good situational pass rusher. He couldn't handle fighting with big lineman on every done he is to smaller and will get pushed around, he strive by beating tired lineman with his speed, he does not press or collapse the pocket, which is what we need out of the other DT position.

Klug isn't a 3 down option. Wish he was tho. Jones? You really think we gonna pay him? Smith is a lackluster player at BEST. Marks has never lived up to the second round and is weak.

We have a need for both DE and DT in my eyes.

    1st vinny curry
    2nd mike Martin

    Problem solved.

I'm not sold on Vinny Curry and don't think Mike Martin will be there when we pick in the 2nd. I honestly think this is the time to get a FA game changer who can pick up the slack on our D-line. I'm not talking about journeyman or anything, I'm talking about a big money threat.

I think our team has too many holes and people are overlooking our problems at SS, FS, and CB.

I don't think Smith is good, I hate Marks but what are the options at this point? Also, we don't know what Jones is asking money-wise yet.

I think you can coach a guy like Klug up and he can also add mass and be just as effective down after down.
