MMQB Titans Preview

Dude, I've had 2 kids and been remarried since we were a winning team...Depressing

This town is depressing. I was born here, and suffered through MANY years of Vanderbilt football failures, and also the basketball ones too. Incredible the best they have ever done is make the Sweet 16 a few times. Then the Titans hit town, and BOOM - we back into a SB right off the bat! There is hope, and then it vanishes. Then the Preds tease us with playoff games, only to lose and never get to the finals even. This town is just plain cursed when it comes to sports. I can remember when the Titans were winning - every 10th car had a big flame on the side of it. People were proud. When we beat the Jags to make the SB I went to the stadium with about 40,000 other fans to welcome them home. I was a ticket holder, partied in lot C across from the stadium on 2nd avenue. Those were the days. Maybe we get lucky and they return. We have lost enough games now to have more drafted talent in the NFL than anyone.

Yeah, but sometimes the low end of the cycle lasts like 40 years...

 

Lol ours is really 2009-2016 so far with a mediocre year or two in there.
