    Draft a QB in the third round. Find out he sucks. Try to trade him for a second round pick the following year.

    And if the top 5 QB's are gone before we pick in the 2nd round you'll rather gamble on the 6th best QB in the draft, or know what your getting.

    I agree that if we want a QB we have to go in the first couple rounds. And we do know what we are getting in Glennon--crap. New regime or not teams do not trade good QBs unless they have another good QB on the roster. They would at least give him a chance.

    I know these are extreme comparisons but Farve, Hasselback, Aaron Brooks were all traded early in their careers.

    Nope.

    The last thing we need is another guy who is merely "serviceable" to waste 2-3 years on. We need to swing for the damn fences and try to get a legit franchise QB who is going to be a difference maker for years to come.
