We have talked about it again and again for the last two years. People have said others are crazy. However I ask again, do we trade or cut CJ at the end of the year or stick to our guns in that the Oline just needs to be fixed?

ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio does not expect Chris Johnson to be a Titan in 2013.

If Johnson is on the Titans' roster the week after the Super Bowl, $9 million of his $10 million 2013 base salary becomes fully guaranteed. There's just no way they can pay a guy who is averaging 3.75 yards per carry with four touchdowns over his last 21 games that kind of coin. Florio suggests the Titans could/should be willing to trade Johnson now instead of getting nothing for him after the season. Perhaps the 4-1 Cardinals, who have lost Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams, will make an offer.

Why would anyone expect Johnson to be a Titan in 2013?

Also, let's put an end to any talk of trading CJ before it even starts. No team in the league is going to trade for him with that contract. Not even a 7th round pick. It's not even worth discussing.

I wonder if CJ's agents will want to talk about re-working his contract with Webster.

Cardinals traded the house for Kevin Kolb; maybe we can sucker them into giving us something for CJ...it's probably our best chance.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Chris Palmer, Bruce Mathews, Mike Munchak, and our putrid (to be nice about it) offensive line for their roles in ruining CJ. Not to say that CJ has the same explosiveness he used to, but he's WAY better than he appears when you look at his numbers!! If he gets traded, I hope for his sake he doesn't go to the Cardinals. They are clearly the 2nd worst run blocking O-Line in the NFL. Not nearly as bad as ours, but real bad none the less.

He will restructure his contract, TITANS DON'T TRADE. Except to move up to select a defensive end that will be converted to a tight end once he is in the pro's that can't even "BLOCK." Sorry wrong subject to rant on. CJ will be a Titan forever.
