I acknowledged it could have been the injury but his whole demeanor and antics are wearing thin. I thought he was a cool dude coming out of Baylor but more and more he just portrays himself as a me me guy since he constantly attracts attention to himself with his over the top persona. He seems super fake to me. If you're not going to put up on Sundays you need to tone down the superstar act. He lost that locker room last season.

Yeah they are rarely top notch but I think it goes to show if the QB if good to them off the field and they are winning games there will be little to complain about.

Murray IS a similar prospect to Colt Breenen a 6th rd pick and Kellen Moore Graham Harrell and Greg Mcelroy. That is exactly what i'm saying.

All fine college QBs who have been no better than third stringers in the nfl.

Stop talking as if Murray played for the little sisters of the poor he played at a major sec program and had great talent around him even if it wasn't quite as good as what Bama had during the same time.

You are comparing a 4 yr starter at a major college program and the SEC passing leader to a product of June Jones piece of garbage, a Texas Tech product which at the time was turning out tons of prolific passers due to their system similar to June Jones and Greg Game Manager McElroy.

Murray is not a product of his system like three of the afformentioned QBs. He ran a pro style offense in the best conference in football not the garbage WAC or Pac 10.

If anything McElroy should be compared to McCarron. They had very similar stats in a super conservative high percentage passing offense that is run first.

I say this liking both but you are severely undermining Murray as a QB.

The analysis of Mccarron is clueless. His execution and accuracy was almost perfect against a Notre dame defense that shut down every other team they played against. His workouts at the combine and his proday were solid and displayed no weaknesses.

Nobody can call me a Bama homer in draft analysis because i'm not and never have been. You have never seen that. My analysis of Mccarron, Moseley and Clinton-Dix is very realistic. I think Derek Carr is the best QB in this draft and he proved that by how he threw on his pro day, he was dominant, more dominant than any QB has been.

    No...

And you kind of made my point towards the end anyways. Murray played against the best of the best. Harrell, Brennan, Moore played against scrubs.

So if Colin Kaepernick was in this draft you would take Murray over him because in your view Kaepernick played against scrubs?

Murray is a similar prospect to Kellen Moore and Colt Breenan regardless of where they played. There are a lot of successful sec QBs who did not have nfl careers! Danny Wuerffel had a great career at florida and didn't amount to a thing in the nfl. Murray is like him.

Fair warning: Red alert! When Gunny and Scarecrow are giving high fives to your posts. 2 guys who can barely wipe themselves. Idiots! Take heed this is not the crowd you want to hang with.

Draft countdown ranks Murray 8th among QB prospects.

Nfl draft scout ranks Murray 9th among nfl prospects.

Great blue north ranks Murray 8th among nfl prospects.

10-12 Qbs are drafted in a typical year 11 last year. He can easily fall out of this draft.

Yeah, he is the best because he threw well at his pro day.
Being able to throw a football to open wide receivers with no pressure makes you the best? :loser:
