Michael Griffin to the pro bowl

You guys are out of your mind thinking he had a bad year. He is the second best free safety in the league. Our Defense sucked last year because of many reasons. Michael Griffin was not one of those reasons. In fact I think he was the glue that kept our pathetic defense from completely falling apart.

The way Jones Drew totally stripped him of his manhood should be enough to ban him from any pro-bowls for the next decade.

Verner is more deserving of a pro-bowl than Griffin.

He also couldn't cover tight ends man-to-man to save his life.

 

Griffin going to ProBowl proves just how useless the ProBowl is to put a value on a player. Heck 'the Diva' has stunk up the ProBowl and on more than 1 occasion.

 

Griffin in the pro bowl is a joke! And he damn sure is not the 2nd best safety in the league. He is above average at best, and maybe just average

 

Griffin, Nick Colins, and Kerry Rhodes are the best FS after Ed Reed. Rank them however you want to rank them but Griffin is definitely top 4.

Due to the fact that Griffin wasn't in the top five of fan votes it means that the majority of his votes came from coaches and players. I think they know what they are talking about. The fan voting was Reed, Chung, Clark, and Bethea. That means Griffin dominated them in player and coach voting in order to get in.

Maybe three years ago. Malcolm Jenkins starts at FS for the Saints now and he's A LOT better than Griffin.
