I don't think Deniro's producing role is much more than investment support on behalf of Tribeca.
He's not great in those SNL appearances etc. Method guys probably can't riff so easily..

Watched The Family tonight. I enjoyed it well enough. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again though.

    I really liked it.

I think it going to be one of those movies that I come across on cable years from now and end up watching the entire thing.

I have a lot of movies like that.

    Shawshank Redemption
    Oh Brother Where Art Thou
    Forrest Gump
    Good Fellas
    Groundhog Day
    The Dark Knight
    Constantine
    Saving Private Ryan
    The Professional
    Ronin
    No Country for Old Men
    What About Bob?
    Any Indiana Jones or Ghostbusters

If I come across any of them on TV they are getting watched commercials and all even though I have most on bluray within arm's reach.

Top 10 for me but then again I'm a Cormac McCarthy fanatic.

The Counselor was one of the better films none of you watched last year.

    So bad it was good

I liked it. It was one of those movies I enjoyed and am glad I watched, but didn't really leave a lasting impression on me.

Haven't seen Constantine but all the other movies on your list were much more memorable than The Family. Just my opinion though.

I loved NCFOM. Not top 10 for me but it's up there somewhere.

Haven't heard of The Counselor either.

    Ridley Scott directed

    McCarthy wrote the screenplay

It is bizarre. Not either one's best work but entertaining.

I'm not saying it of the same quality as many of those. It is just enjoyable.

I only like Constantine because they were not all the way faithful to the comic at all but it is still really entertaining.

    Constantine is my Batman.
