I think thats the only hotel in the world which is rated 7 stars..
The prices they charge per night are absolutely crazy!

We were invited to dinner there once at the Mahara restaurant which is an elegant seafood restaurant with the tables built around a huge seawater aquarium. I remember reading somewhere that the restaurant is rated among the top 10 restaurants in the world. Not bad. I'm glad it was work related and i didn't have to pick up the tab.

Is that the hotel that actually has gold plating on the outside?

I'm not too sure about the outside, but the inside is decorated with gold plated leaves. Other highlights around the lobby are accented with gold. I've been told that everything that looks gold is indeed gold.

 

Now tell me this doesn't get your appetite going? )

 

In all honesty, the first 6 months of doing this is a blast, and then its not so exciting anymore, and it goes downhill until you just get tired and would rather just be in a stable 8-4 job.

I haven't reached that stage yet but i know its coming soon.
