    My mom cooked dinner by unwrapping the night's meal and tossing it in the oven @325.
    Every. single. night.
    Love ya ma, but that method sucks.

    I learned to cook on my own at about 14 or 15 and never looked back.

    Yeah same here. "Cooking" consisted of a bunch of frozen crap thrown in the oven (or even microwave), or if I was lucky spaghetti or maybe some bacon and eggs ("breakfast for dinner" lol). Love her to death, but could not cook to save her life.

    I really lucked out in that my wife loves to cook and is, honestly, truly amazing at it. She detests frozen stuff and will only rarely use it. And god help you if you even mention a microwave to her. We don't even have one in the house lol.
