I have seen no video, he is a JUCO transfer. ESPN scouting said he moved well for his size and is strong, run stopper. With that kind of size, he doesn't need to be good really, just not movable, let the LB's clean up. Can't teach 6-6, 380.

Bama, and LSU thought enough of him to offer a scholarship. And Crompton was a very highly rated QB. Recruiting is not an exact science, as they say.

He's a good one. Bama backed off a bit after getting Taylor and then stopped with the additions of Tomlinson and Kirven.

If he was good, he'd have some film. Even the merely "good" guys these days have film if there's any hype behind them.

He was recruited hoping to do something with his size. A big gamble that probably wont pay off. You've got to be more than big to play football. Just like you have to be more than tall to play basketball.

Any 3-4 look has to have a dynamic nose tackle in the middle. If McCullers isn't dynamic, someone should tell the numerous SEC coaches clamored after the behemoth throughout the past year.

McCullers, a junior college transfer, was being recruited by Alabama, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, and Tennessee.

Luckily for Dooley, the Vols ended up with the big man. McCullers will have three years of eligibility with the Vols.
