I look at it this way...

What has drafting "NFL Ready" Need guys for us gotten us? People like Pac Man, and Morgan, and Griffin.

If there is a potential stud with good value at a position of need, by all means, take it. If not, take the guy who might be a star. I'd rather bet on upside than need all day long.

The biggest knock on this franchise has always been, to me, too many #2 and #3 guys, and not enough true stars. This franchise hasn't really had many legit stars since the Eddie-McNair days. CJ2k is about it.

If Bulluck were in a bigger market, he would have been a much bigger star.

I do what I want. A grade's a grade. If it's in the forum rules, I'll pay attention. You can get at me if I post one of their "news" articles, though.

Addressing me directly doesn't hurt, either.

Lol, but I did give pause before posting a link there, so I feel where you're coming from. I had to make sure it could be taken at least halfway seriously.

AFA Bulluck goes, I remember a LOT of complaining about him avoiding contact, not squaring up, and being too "finesse." isn't that a fancy way of saying "avoids contact?"

Sounds like some of you got your Keith Bulluck back, after all. You should be happy.

Im sure I'll be scrutinized for this comment. I see Zach Brown much like I saw Bullock. Fast, good in coverage, and consistent. Like Brown he had trouble shedding blocks and didnt make huge hits.

He did however make the tackle, everytime. Thats what matters. It doesnt have to be flashy. It just has to work.

Brown has the size, speed, athleticism, and production you must see from such a high selection.

Don't you guys dare kick dirt on Bulluck's name by comparing him to this ballerina.

They were essentially the same damn player coming out of college. Bulluck was a safety turned linebacker, he'll Brown could probably play safety with his speed. Difference is Bulluck turned into a complete player...we don't know what this kid would do, you included. So quit acting as if you have some sort of crystal ball and know what the future holds in store. You couldn't evaluate the talent of a high school team.

The haters need to remember that Bulluck was nothing more than a STs player his rookie yr and made a total of 18 tackles. That is what I expect to see from Brown. Let him learn how to become an NFL Lber playing behind Spoon for a yr.
