Matt Leinart on the trade Block.

    OX Sports' Jay Glazer reports that the Cardinals are actively trying to trade Matt Leinart.
    The desired compensation is unclear, but Arizona has reportedly contacted multiple teams. They probably shouldn't hold out for more than a sixth-round pick with Leinart's trade stock at an all-time low. The 27-year-old's contract calls for a $2.5 million base salary in 2010, which will be prohibitive for most teams.


    Didnt Fisher want this guy at one time? I hope we dont try and get him, VY would be insulted.

    Think. Just try to think. It won't happen.

    There's no use for them trading him right now. They won't get anything for him and they need someone for more QB depth. Who's to say Derek Anderson won't suck like he did the past two seasons and Leinart wins the starting job for good?

    The Cardinals should of drafted Jimmy Clausen, they had the pick right before he was taken..

    with Anderson as QB they have a chance to win 7 games!!!!

    That kid that played 3rd string for the Cards looked like the man for the job.. Leinart should go to Indy and they should make him their starter.

    So, you're now admitting that they have a chance to win 7 games with Anderson at QB?

    The majority of NFL fans were expecting him to start over Leinart anyways.

    Can a person really be on the trading block... if no one else wants him? Why would you want someone terrible as your backup. He's been playing under Kurt Warner... and if he didn't learn anything from Kurt Warner, then he really doesn't have much potential.
