People point to vince youngs record of 30-17 and say "But he is 13-1 against good teams!". So I did a little mathmatical investigation into those claims, as it implies his record is the result of playing easy teams.

So he is 30-17 as a starter, 13-14 against .500+ teams. Lets do a little math.

    (30, 17) -(13, 14) = 17-3 against sub .500 teams.

    We aint done yet!

Lets get this in winning percentages.

    That is, So 13/27 = 0.481

    and 17/20 = 0.850

Now, let us go one step forward and calculate the number of games won per year with him as the QB. Ofcourse for average sake, lets split +.500 and sub .500 teams per year down the middle.

    That is, (0.481)(8) + (0.85)(8) = 3.85 + 6.8 = 10.65 wins per season.

    Just as a reference, 30/47 * 16 = 10.21 per season.

The small difference is because he underwent a tougher schedule.

I just thought id tell you. The 13-14 record is nonsense.

Curious how a 13 - 14 record is nonsense when that is his record?

13-14 against teams with winning records sure is better than Fisher's win percentage against winning teams.

Last time I checked Vince Young is not the Titans' quarterback. I don't care anymore.

Without doing any research, I'm going to assume all QBs have a better win-loss percentage against teams with a losing record than against teams with a winning record. I don't think that says much.

Anyone whose argument relates to VY "not winning" in any way is wrong. He is out of TN for other reasons.
