Kinda surprised nobody made a thread for it. I completed the first, played a bit of the 2nd one and got tired of it. ME3 is out now and I have been playing it here and there. Story is finally going to wrap up, so I will be glad to know how it all ends.

During one of my first missions, one of the guys in my crew, in the Engineer lab got a dieing "voice mail" from his......husband. "I LOVE YOU CARLOS". lolwtf. smh

The squad play is solid, can issue attack/cover/skills with a few different buttons, it is set up very well for PC imo. The cover system is very intuitive, easy to use. Skill progression has a bit more variety this go round. FPS play works flawlessly for the most part, and the story is Grade A as usual.

Since I don't have any prior saves to import, it is just a fresh play through. Not a big deal to me, though.

It gets my recommendation. Anyone else?

I've played the first two and am just at the Citadel in the third. My previous saves had something like this:

*** POSSIBLE SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED PREVIOUS MASS EFFECT GAMES***

I can't remember all the choices, if I left some out remind me and I will update.

    Saved racchni queen
Overwrite geths [instead of destroying them]
Gave the Collector base to Cerberus
    Saved Maleons Data [I think*]
    Romanced Jack [oh yaahhh]
    Sacrificed the Council in ME1
12 squadmates survive from ME2 [everyone]
Wrex spared, Kaidan killed in ME1

    lmao.

I should finish ME2, but I am enjoying 3. Maybe I will finish 2 after I beat 3, then import that save and play the game differently. Should be good for 2 playthroughs.

You laugh but Jack was a wild thing in bed.

And yes, that's a chick for anyone not on the up and up.

I've never played any of the Mass Effects. I have notoriously hated RPGs.

Skyrim is the first RPG I've ever really liked. Any chance I'd like Mass Effect?

Aside from Zelda, Mass Effect is the only RPG I've truly liked.. and ME1 blew me away.. the story/universe is amazing. I'm sure there's a demo you can try but it won't touch the surface of the story.

I'll probably look for the first two for cheap and work my way to the new one if I enjoy them enough.

You can probably grab me1 for 10 bucks. Definitely worth a buy.

Didn't like the first 2, so I can't buy this one. Too much walking around, mining, and other tedious BS. Feels like you get to actually play the game once every 10 minutes or so of talking to non-interesting characters while exploring boring atmospheres.

And Jack is such a lesbian.
