Marvin Harrison: The Dirtiest Player

I read this a few years ago and couldn't believe what I was reading. Never thought of Harrison as a G like that. I still don't really believe it. Something about the reporting seemed off to me.

 

Stuff like this then that incident when he had a gun on him... didn't really know him but sure didn't think he was anything but quiet. Huh.

 

I always felt that if Reggie Wayne were Marvin Harrison's age.. and had all that time with Manning, he would be twice the player Harrison ever was, and probably regarded as one of the best all-time.

I remember watching them side-by-side a lot in Indy, while Harrison was still in his prime. Wayne outshined him all the time. Just a better playmaker. Harrison was consistent til he got older, but he really fell off in his last few years.

The shooting thing made me LOL. I was shocked. He and McNair prove that you can never really know a public figure from their public persona.

 

Yea everyone knows Marvin Harrison is a little hot head. Well I guess not everyone knows.

 

he always seemed quiet to me and I am sure most people. He did not make the news unless it was for doing well on the field. All I can think of remembering him for!

He grabbed a Jets ball boy by the throat for letting a punt get close to him. He didn't get this rep because he didn't talk to the media, but he would sit by himself and pout whenever he didn't get the ball. Total me guy.

 

All good WRs are me guys. Some hide it better than others.
