If Barron was a FS this would be a perfect pick. With Griffin gone and Babs coming back Barron would just fill in for Griffin but unfortunately he's a SS. I'm not too big on Babs moving over but if he can play effectively there then go for it. I don't really see any DL prospects ranked higher over Barron at the 20 spot unless by some miracle Coples or Still drops to us. The BPA for each position would be:

    DE Nick Perry
    DT Fletcher Cox
    LB Vontaze Burficit
    CB Janoris Jenkins
    S Mark Barron

Alright make your pick. Perry would be a pretty good pick but the top talent is at DB.

Really really depends on how well his interviews go. If a team sees a possible upside he might go in the second. Supposedly he is a well mannered guy off the field, doesn't party.... Just a nutcase on... But still, dude is gonna drop. I wouldnt be surprised if he was there for our 2nd.

Idk if I really want him... Idk if he fits well.

Buficit is a monster on the field and he knows that he has to tame himself if he wants to get drafted high. He will say anything to make sure his interviews goes well because it will cost him if they don't. I would love to have him in the 2nd and try to make him into an OLB.

His cover skills are ?able. I'm not sure he is the best WLB prospect.

The only issue I have with going SS at 20 is, what happens to Babs? Does he slide over to FS or are we going to pay him $3M to back up again...... I like Barron for us, but IMO D-Line is a better way to go.

We're going to have to address the FS position anyway. If Babs can play it then go for it and if not we have to find a replacement anyway. Having Babs as a back up isn't bad either because you never know with rookies and injuries.

Babs will either get his $3M from us or he won't play for us, he won't be a back-up at $3M/yr.
