Mariota Turnovers - suck it haters

Hahaha plenty of people hate him on this forum....Just sayin'

 

I don't think one person hates him. He's a decent kid. Represents the Titans well. Some of us just feel right now he's not what everyone thinks he is, and have concerns he can get to the next level. I have hopes he can, but reserve the right to point out problems.

 

I wasn't singling you out, and sure he needs work in areas...I can't argue that...but we don't get 8-9 wins without him, and we sure as hell haven't had anyone else better than him in forever...He is plenty good enough to get us to playoff football. F ing Alex Smith can do it, and he straight sucks...Dude had zero touchdowns to a receiver all year in 2015, and still went. We build around Marcus, and he will be fine.

 

Unfortunately, some just love to hate...

But, seriously, it says a lot about Marcus that he went back to practice less than 48 hours after his surgery. He loves his team and it shows.

 

Where else would he go? You ever play a team sport? You make friends. You want to be around them.

 

Many players don't come around the team when they get injured. I don't remember Pollard being around when he got injured while playing for the Titans. They aren't required to be at practice, or on the sidelines during games when they are on IR. It does earn Mariota some respect from the other leaders. Shows he is dedicated.

 

GG51 - you really love to mix it up in here. Where else would he go? If what he did was the norm amongst NFL players after an out of state surgery, do you think it would be such news?

Did I ever play a team sport - damn, old man, if you only knew.

 

He's not some scrub. When you are drafted to be the franchise it's expected of you. Let's not get emotional. It would have more of a story had he not shown. If you actually played something resembling a contact sport you would get it.

 

The great JJ Watt wasn't anywhere near the Texans until the last couple of weekends. I guess he isn't on their payroll?

 

You're right he should be on radio talk shows and sitting at home watching games on TV with his brother like Derek Carr.
