    If Mariota would not have got injured last two years he would have been alot higher.


    I'm not worried about the deep ball. Titans football is all about dink and dunk all the way to the end zone.

    Yes it would be nice to be able to bomb it for a touch down once a game but that not who the Tennessee Titans are.

    In my opinion thats better for him, way better. As elusive as Mike Vick was, you could argue his elusiveness was the reason he got hurt so much; same for RG3. Fantastic speed & quickness but they tried to make a play too often. Mariota knows how & when to slide and knows not to do too much. The 87 yard run was an example of he knows how to trust his blockers downfield when running.

    Love seeing Marcus in the top 100 he deserves every bit of it, hoping he can stay healthy this year and have a great season with the new additions at WR.

    Better WRs & offensive schemes will help him get the ball out quicker hopefully.

    In the Spread formation he rarely gets breathed on.

    Considering Mariota has done what he has, with Mathews and a 5th rounder as his WR's, this year should be a huge step forward. That 3rd year is often a big progression, he didn't have a sophomore slump, and he got arguably the best (THE best IMO) WR in the draft, plus another guy who could be very solid in Taylor. Add that to Matthews and Walked and there's no reason Mariota shouldn't have a huge year. As many say, he just needs to stay healthy!

    This is what allows Tom Brady to pick people apart, balls out before 3 seconds in most cases.. The guy barely gets touched..


    I think due to personnel and experience we should expect to see Mariota with the ball in his hands more this year than ever before....
