The titans brought in Gilyard as one of their try outs for their receiver spot. He went to U of Cincinnati where I went for his Junior + Senior season. Let me tell you something, every time my dad and I watched him make one of the many prolific and NFL quality catches we always said to ourselves "damn he's gonna be good in the NFL." It doesn't look like the Rams are exactly amazing and they're the ones that released him. I wouldn't count on him being a bust by any means, and I think he could be a HUGE pickup for the Titans if he can blossom in his 3rd year.

Cross your fingers for this guy, I think he could be a huge difference maker.

I said something about picking up Mardy Gilyard after the Rams cut him not long after we played them in preseason but a couple posters said he wasn't worth it that he couldn't play.I was saying then i wanted the Titans to give him a look.

I think it would be a good signing for us.Hope we pick him up.

also back on September 3rd i said something also about bringing in Gilyard.

It's a gigantic red flag when a team cuts a guy who was drafted in the 4th round after only one season (at a position where they are very, very weak). Temper your expectations.

He has potential, but the team already has young receivers with potential. I'd rather have someone that can teach Dwill, Hawk, and Cook about professionalism, conditioning, film study, etc.

He wouldn't have a chance...unless he has 10 foot long arms to catch it before it goes OOB.

I'd rather have Donnie Avery, assuming he's healthy.

Avery is who i hope they eventually sign.He was the first WR drafted in the draft only a couple years back.Has potential if he can stay healthy.
