Yet their stat lines are almost identical. You are intellectually dishonest. Sophomore slumps for both guys. It happens.

 

For those of you who bash QBs for losses, I'd suggest that you read this thread:
Philip Rivers is on pace for 4,404 yards, 32TD, 4INT and the Chargers are on pace to go 4-12 (again)

 

Screw Rivers. We offered him a contract. Seems no one with experience wants to play for us.

You could argue the "successful" part of each of these guys but:

Warren Moon
Drew Brees
John Elway (3rd year, 1st full)
Vinny Testaverde
Jim Kelly (3rd year)
Ben Roethlisberger (3rd year)

last time i checked 3rd year isnt a sophmore. also its like mariotas first year still

 

So are you now willing to give Mariota a break since he only starts his sophomore season this upcoming week? Doubt it.
I'm sure that you would have cried, moaned, trolled at any of these QB's year 3 not being SB champs.
