I touched on this last week, but no one cared to talk about it with me. But since you bring it up, yea he probably was a little concerned about not winning with us, and it being on him.

We're an organization going in the right direction, Denver not so much. He'll be their savior and we'll knock him out of the playoffs

Of course my opinion is going to change based off the new information available.

I still think he's the best QB to ever play the game and I wish he would have chosen the Titans but some people are wired differently. He's scared of the pressure that was put on him here with the Vols and with Bud Adams. He's a coward in every sense of the word.

He's in a category with LeBron James now. Not a clutch bone in either body. Both of them can't handle pressure, neither wants to shoot the last shot. LeBron couldn't handle the pressure of being home in Cleveland and Peyton knew he couldn't handle it with Tennessee.

I don't even care enough to comment on Peyton coming here. I just want a bad-azz defense again.

I really hope this team can make the playoffs and we get to face Manning in a meaningful game in January...I'm sure Locker or Hasselbeck would have a lot to prove.

People can tell themselves whatever they want to rationalize why Manning didn't choose the Titans. As we see from this thread, people will say just about anything to make themselves feel better.

And the "circus" comment came from Titan's sources who said they were under the impression that Manning felt that way. I think that's a pretty reasonable assumption considering everything that's happened this last week.

Peyton is signing in Denver, time to get used to it. At the end of the day, the QB position should be the least of our concerns.

Honestly, some things are better left unsaid. Even if this is what turned him off, he should have kept his yap shut (assuming he actually said this, and that the reporter is not just making this up to get a rise out of folks).

It was probably the 7 people at Baptist Sports Park wanting him.

    INSANITY!!!!

I'm sure it's so much different in Denver judging by how ape-sh** their media has been going every time he exhales.

Problem is that here, with the way he is regarded in this state....he would have had a lot more rope to work with in terms of winning...at least I believe he would have.

Denver...not so much...not for almost 20million per year....
