On mac's, what key is the up arrow?
New slide on keynote is the apple key, N, and arrow key.
I pressed the up key and nothing happened, what does the arrow stand for?

  2. I don't think I understand the problem. The up arrow is the up arrow.

Or maybe you mean the page up/page down buttons, which should be FN key and up/down?

But if use the menu, it gives me the background that I wanted

if it's an up arrow drawn like an outline, I believe it's wanting you to push shift there ... found that one out by accident one day

weird it just doesn't say SHIFT+COMMAND+N

but yeah, try the SHIFT key there

  5. Ah, yeah it's probably the shift key.
