Looks like our next game just got a little easier...

Willis is just about as good as you can get at the MLB position. But I give Vince a shot at beating Willis 1 on 1. Not 100% of the time, but enough to beat him to the sticks.

 

Yeah Willis is a beast. This game is definitely going to be a much bigger challenge for our offense than the Jags game. But I'm not sold on Alex Smith. If we can manage to get a decent amount of pressure I think he will turn the ball over a couple of times. If we can contain Gore and get our running game going we should win this.

only thing that bothers me is the fact its on the west coast...this would be an easy win in Nashville, but switching time zones bothers me.

nevertheless, i say we win by 10...close game till late in the 3rd and we pull ahead/hold on

 

I watched the whole game.

Staley left the game early and Simms filled in well for him.

Clements was actually demoted for the Colts game and didn't start at CB. His main role was as a punt returner.

The 49ers didn't really miss either player and really frustrated Manning in the first half. They also have a tough Defence to run on.

 

I think willis is gonna lock on CJ letting VY free even in 3rd down.

 

you know what's funny? the 49ers are probably saying the exact same thing about our offense.

they're not sold on VY. pressure him and he'll turn the ball over. if they can contain CJ they have a good shot at winning.

 

This sounds about right there D is Stingy and it will be a tough task for Vy .

 

Oh for sure. I don't think the 49er's are exactly shaking in their boots at the thought of VY coming to town. :ha:
