Honestly, I agree. We have talented young players... I think we need a new DC or atleast Gray needs to change what he's doing.

Jurrell Casey, Akeem Ayers, Colin McCarthy, Markelle Martin, Coty Sensabaugh, ATV, Klug, Mike Martin, McCourty, Zach Brown, Tommie Campbell.. all these guys have legit potential. They're all young is it. Jerry Gray better not ruin them, especially the first 3 listed.

    What scares me:

"the Titans scored an NFL-record five touchdowns of more than 60 yards"

I feel we are relying on the big play too much.

    - Despite their ineffectiveness, the Titans relied heavily on their defensive line for their pass rush. They sent a blitzer on only four of Detroit’s 60 passing plays.

    Thats got to change to.

You've seen enough from Markelle Martin and Coty Sensabaugh to say they're good and a part of our future? IDK if I have, I'm hopeful, but so far those wouldn't be 2 I'm counting on.

As for Gray's scheme, give it time to marinate before throwing it out. As you mentioned, lots of young talent in there trying to execute the game plan.

I was just proving that we're young. But, I was very high on Markelle Martin in college. Never heard of Sensabaugh until we drafted him.

we need 8 more wins to make the playoffs IMO

I don't see us getting more than 3 or 4 the way our run game and defense look..That could all change in a week though.

I've said since the season began that we would be lucky to go 1-3 in the first 4, but that it would be alot of wins after that.

    10/07 Titans vs Vikings ‎-4:25 PM (ET)‎ - Win
10/11 Steelers vs Titans ‎-8:20 PM (ET)‎ - 50/50 (hey the steelers are OLD and injury prone)
    10/21 Titans vs Bills ‎-1:00 PM (ET)‎ - Win
    10/28 Colts vs Titans ‎-1:00 PM (ET)‎ - Win
    11/04 Bears vs Titans ‎-1:00 PM (ET)‎ - Win
    11/11 Titans vs Dolphins ‎-1:00 PM (ET)‎ - Win
    11/25 Titans vs Jaguars ‎-1:00 PM (ET)‎ - Win
    12/02 Texans vs Titans ‎-1:00 PM (ET)‎ - Loss
    12/09 Titans vs Colts ‎-1:00 PM (ET)‎ - Win
12/17 Jets vs Titans ‎-8:30 PM (ET)‎ -Win
    12/23 Titans vs Packers ‎-1:00 PM (ET)‎ - 50/50
    12/30 Jaguars vs Titans ‎-1:00 PM (ET)‎ - Win

Now, before y'all freak out that I say the Packers is 50/50, let me explain. It depends on what string we play. If the Lions and Bears are pushing them, then we play the 1st string with them fighting for a home playoff game, we lose. On the other hand, if they have the division wrapped up, we play a mix of the 2nd and 3rd string for at least a half, and it's Christmas comes early with a win.

Steelers are old and already injured, and we have never had a problem getting to Big Ben vs them. Jets are a circus and without the anchor of their D and not the best offense, don't scare me. Bears are an even bigger circus.

Assume we get swept by the Texans and lose to the Packers, and I'll even throw in a loss to the Steelers, assuming they come here on a short week and catch us on a bad day.

If we can stay healthy and win the winnable games, we are still a 10-win team and get a Wild Card berth.

The only way we will win games is if we change our defensive game plan. We've got to blitz. If we get pressure on the QB it will force him to make bad decisions and our players are talented enough to make plays off it. We need to quit playing prevent or we will get destroyed by half decent QBs like Luck and Gabbert. We have really talented players on defense but Gray's plan just sucks.
