Just some comments about re watching lockers games. Here's two. Sorry it's kinda long but I sure hope he progresses this year from this.

    Locker
    Vs
Chargers: early on had crazy pressure and looked just awful. Early lofty ball was an INT. The snap count was figured out by the chargers and it devastated the game. CJ was basically nonexistent. His 4th drive he made some good plays and got into the red zone. Two back to back low throws forced a FG. Two more drives that didnt last but 4 plays including a punt. Next drive another failure. Locker runs for 1 yard. CJ for 2, check down on third and long. We're losing 17-3. 3rd quarter at this point. Next drive is another punt. Missed on a deep throw to Thompson. Did well keeping plays alive but just didnt move the chains. Next drive set up by a Hawkins run back. Hit cook high for about twelve and then a quick slant to wright put us in the end zone. Losing 24-10. Beginning of the forth. Next drive a three and out. Drop by cook and Williams. Most of lockers throws look high at this point. Last drive runs out of clock. Had a nice ball yo Williams and Stevens.

    Vs the lions:
First drive starts off quick and accurate for 5 completions straight. Then a fumble on the snap. Detroit recovers. Second drive gets CJ going. Locker still looks good. One off pass to wright on a shallow cross. 3rd/5 a fade to the end zone isn't completed. Losing 6-3. Nearing end of first quarter. Next punt is the music city miracle (slight return). Winning 10-6. Next drive starts with negative yards. CJ going backwards. Locker hits cook deep over the middle. Runs in for TD. 17-6. Next drive is 3 and out. Two check downs. One off target and a slant short of the stick. 2 minute drive starts with back to back cook completions. One out wide one in the middle. Then a locker run. 20+. Low throw on the wright screen. CJ drop and another wright screen gets us into the FG range. 20-9. First series after the half is CJ, a high ball to britt and more CJ. Catches a break n a flag. Deep ball to ??? Is short. False starts and holding puts this drive as a FG attempt. Misses. Next drive starts with locker attacking the middle of the field with passes to Stevens and wright. Both balls on point. Hits wright on a roll out pass to the outside, short. CJ gets a couple good runs. Wright screen ends the drive. Another missed FG.

Top of the forth starts the next drive. Good ball to wright. Fumbled. Detroit recovered. Losing 27-20 at the start of the next kick. Reynaud gets the Thompson block for a TD. Next drive starts with a flag on us. Locker throws the crazy deep ball to Washington. Catches it over the cbs back. Td. 34-27. Verner strips the lions TE. Td. 41-27. Should be game over by all means but we the titans. 1:11 seconds is apparently enough.... OT. Locker hits Stevens back to back with a CJ run for negative yards. Flag on us. Locker run. Catch a break on a defensive holding. CJ goes no where again. Locker hits Stevens AGAIN. For a first. Overturned but even still I think bs. Locker high ball to wright. Williams gets a long out followed by the ghetto wright screen, goes no where. Couple small completions and we settle for the FG. Lions try a QB sneak on 4th and we Win.

If Locker can hit Stevens that much he should be accurate enough.

If you wanna see the best and worst of locker, I think it's these two games. He looked horrific against the chargers. But against the lions he was throwing strikes for the most part. He still looked very uncomfortable in the pocket tho. Also it was like super 4 wide sets with every one of the wrs out of the screen before they ever changed direction. Long 10 yards stints before any cuts were made. That's alot of time and field to have to cover before locker could throw the ball.

A lot of those throws were from MH, but they still count. Wonder how MH would have done with this new oline... :(

but man KW looks good. I was to busy crying about how much we sucked overall to pay much attention to him last year.

Personally I think shorter, low variance play would suit locker better. Play action roll outs and big play potential built into the high completion scheme. Palmers offense was trash by all means. As well as his play calling. That's a grip of screens ya only go for 2 yards lol.
