The thing is that boring check down crap probably wins the Colts game last Sunday.

I was one of the more vocal Locker supporters for the longest. I'm officially on the other side at this point.

If you look at our roster this is the perfect year to draft the best available QB in round 1. We are set at CB, LB (MLB possible need), WR, RB, and the interior line...

DE, MLB, and MAYBE SS are the only real positions of need on this roster besides QB.

Fire this clueless HC and get our franchise QB this year.

the big picture is the ring and prolonged success, what wins on sunday is a by product. i dont think jake is a guy who can take us where we need to go.

i'm getting a bit older now people. i absolutely can't stand words like 'potential' and thats about all i've been hearing about this franchise for i don't know how long.

You guys mentioning the ACL injury are looking at it as if Murray is a running qb, RB, WR, etc...

He's a pocket QB. He'll be able to play next season.

Doesnt matter. Still gotta drop back, slide in the pocket. A simple drop back isnt just some casual movement,it has to happen quickly, and he does have plenty of ability to escape the pocket. Its not huge part of his game, but its a part. He will take time. Not saying he couldnt play next year, but it would be best if he didnt rush back from this.

I think you are placing too much emphasis on sliding back. Its not like he is a scat back....

Maybe. He has to plant to throw. And an ACL is what stabilizes your thigh and lower leg when decelerating. Think about Carson Palmer and his abilities before the injury and the year after he had his repaired. He's a good example of an ACL injury in a QB.

I would like to see us take a shot at Aj McCarron. I think a lot of people throw him under that not a big arm, game manager type of qb, but all of those points you listed, he has. And he is a winner. I wouldnt be mad at Murray though, his injury is the only thing that scares me about that pick, considering titans love to draft and sign injured players but if he is there in the 3rd 4th I think you have to take him. Do what the Seahawks did. I say we draft 2 qbs one maybe in the 6th 7th round, cut rusty and let them all compete with locker.
