Lock Some Players Up

The only person that warrants consideration for a BIG contract is Finnegan.

A lot of borderline guys that we could keep for cheap just for continuity sake I guess.

I'd rather bring some new blood in personally.

 

I don't see many upgrades at FS so I think we should offer Griffin a 4yr/$12M deal

 

I would offer Griffin a 10% discount on a Uhaul truck

 

LOL, but do you have any better ideas? Sending him packing won't help us if we get someone less talented in there.

 

There will be tons of options on draft day and any UFA would be a better option.


But I would love to see 33 playing hard and hitting hard again, but its been almost 2 full seasons now where he has been a liability at FS

 

It all depends on what the price is for some of these players.

Finny should be getting a 4 year 26 mil contract not including bonuses and incentives, which probably come close to another 8-10 mil.

Outside of that. Griffin is a 12-15 mil guy for 4 years.

Jones is an 8-10, 4 years. Frankly he hasn't produced.

Stevens, 4 years, cheap. Mil or so a year.

Uhhh anything else?

 

FWIW I bet Stevens, based on his game tapes, would get more than that from somebody. We know hes limited, but I bet there is someone out there who would see those times he snatches the ball aways from his body and thinks hes a full time starter.

 

I'd sign Stevens back before I do Cook.

 

I'm not low balling the guy, but neither he nor cook have become anything special. I wouldn't mind drafting a rook.

 

Here's the thing with Stevens. He is physical, and always surprises.
Cook, he disappears, is overrated, and drops balls.
