Lets make a splash in free agency

Unless we cut some guys like C.J., Wimbley, and Stewart, we'll only have about $8M to play with.

IDK how big a splash youre looking for, but $8M doesn't go far these days, especially when trying to lure in the big time DE's.

 

But we're most likely going to cut all of those players.

 

Didn't we make quite the splash last year? Worked really well for us..

 

Lets say we don't cut anyone who deserves cutting. We have roughly $8M, Greg hardy wont even pick up the phone for $8M a year, top DE's want $10M+

 

But that would be unbelievably stupid, even for the Titans. So why even entertain the notion?

We are at a good spot to where we shouldn't be spending money to bring guys in right now. We need to find them in the draft or bring in key free agents/role players. I don't want to end up like the Cowboys or Redskins. We are probably a few years away from anything, better using it to wrap up guys like Wright/Casey.

Although I could live with getting rid of Big Country, Wimbley, and CJ to go after Hardy. It would feel a huge need and change our draft.

Get a legit HC and draft a QB and let's reboot this thing. For real this time.

Ahh F%$K it. CUT EM ALL. THEY ALL SUCK.

 

We should have plenty of cash after we trim all the fat. Hopefully we can trade CJ. I'm sure someone will give us something and I'd rather have a 7th than just straight cut him.
